Ever wondered why sometimes people just don't like you? Ever wondered why that human being just irritates you so much?
Hmm, I do ponder.
That day, during KAMI Medik 2015 camp, at Sungai Congkak, handled by the second year seniors, I found the answer. More or less.
Ustadh Khairul Amry gave a talk on 'Stairways to Heaven' and he gave an analogy regarding that:
He said, when we look at babies, we feel so calm, feeling that those babies are the most adorable creatures we've ever seen right? Even for people whose hearts were blind, feel touched while looking at babies. Ever wonder why? Ustadh said, because babies have no faults, no wrong doings, that's why we feel calm when looking at them. Ustadh said, if we look at someone, feeling the same as when we look at babies, it means that they are the same as babies, born with fitrah with no faults.
But, that rarely happens right? Too rare.
Hmm.
It is time for us to purify our hearts with zikrullah and reading Al-Quran etc. Pray that we are granted with mahmudah attitudes, far from mazmumah attitudes.
Actually, that thing happened to me the next day after we heard Ustadh's talk. During 'Malam Hikmah' session on day two of the camp, there's this one station, asking us to write mahmudah and mazmumah attitudes of our teammates. I was strucked by one of the notes from one of my teammates, not knowing who exactly. It strucked my heart so badly that it gloomed my day. But the next day while performing solah, Allah touched my heart, He reminded me with ustadh's talk.
Astaghfirullah, there's too many mistakes I've done in life.
Astaghfirullah, it is time for me to change.
p/s: Mahmudah means the praised characteristics which is recommended for a civilized human-being in morality of Shariah Islamiah.
